Gordon Banks (30 December 1937 – 12 February 2019) was an English footballer. He has played for England national team. He is regarded as one of the greatest goalkeeper of all time.[1]


In December 2015, it was announced he was receiving treatment for kidney cancer.[2] Banks died overnight on 12 February 2019 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, aged 81.[3][4]
