In vertebratis Nervus spinalis [1] (FCAT: A08.800.800.720) est nervus, cuius corpori humano pariter triginta et unus sunt[2], octo enim (C1-C8) cervicales, duodecim (Th1-Th12) thoracales, lumbales quinque (L1-L5), sacrales quinque (S1-S5), unus coccygeales (Cc1). Quisque nervus ex duobus ramis ventrali enim et dorsali ex medulla spinali oritur. Ramificatione inter quattuor typos fibrorum nervorum systema nervosum centrale cum (periphericis) systemate nervoso somatico et systema nervoso autonomico communicat. Nervi spinales vero pars systematis nervosi peripherici sunt.
