KV: No, they had a little literary festival. They have the same population as Rochester, New York, and are a part of
WRA: Had you been to Iceland before?
KV: No. Nobody's been to Iceland before. [Laughter]
KV: That's right. They've got four world-class masters.
WRA: What else is there to do but play chess and sit around in the sauna?
KV: You know, I wrote about the
WRA: I saw a show about the high alcoholism rate of the young people in Iceland. Did you see any evidence of that?
KV: I didn't see many drunks. But you know what their brand of vodka is? They have a law, I don't know why it is, but they can't export liquor. I guess they dont want to make it too important in the economy. But it could be. The name of the vodka is
