The fiery-billed aracari or fiery-billed araçari (
KAHR-ee; Pteroglossus frantzii) is a
bird. It breeds only on the Pacific slopes of southern Costa Rica and western Panama. The binomial commemorates the German naturalist
Alexander von Frantzius.
The fiery-billed aracari is similar to the closely related
collared aracari, with which it is sometimes considered conspecific.
Frantz's aracari is an alternate name for This species.
